In our first session of life drawing, we were given a set of objects on tables in front of us to draw. For out starter exercises, we created drawings of the various objects using techniques such as normal drawing, drawing with our less-used hand, drawing without being able to see what we drew, and most commonly - drawing without taking our pencils/pens off the paper. For the last hour of the lesson, we had to choose an object that we wanted to draw in detail, with all of its tone and as good looking as we could get it. I chose to draw the plant sat in front of me, as I found this the most interesting out of all the objects. We had to do this final task using charcoal and chalk.
